Ed Parra | Game Designer

My story:

I come from a small place called Las Vegas! Jokes aside, being able to attend Bradley University as a game design major and user experience design (UX) minor has been a privilege and honor. I plan to be graduating in the spring of 2028. Let me take you to the start of it all.

Ever since I was 5 years old, I knew I wanted to make my own game. This did not come become a real dream till I learned how much passion I had for this ambition. I hope to make games that immerse people into a rich world like past games did for me.

Road mapping, scope control, and leading a team are just a few things I have learned from my time at Bradley. I have also learned how to communicate in a team setting, how to be open to critical feedback, and how to cut content when necessary.

While working on projects and schoolwork, I am also a practicing Catholic at Bradley’s Newman Center. This helps center me in all the chaos and makes me a leader in Game Design that is not afraid of holding themselves accountable for mistakes I make in my leadership. I hope to be a person that lift others to achieve amazing things alongside pursuing my own ambitions.

Outside of my school life and game design ventures, I enjoy a good game night. I especially find pleasure in making time for good friends, whether that is something active or more chill. I thrive off the energy of others but I still need that time to play some good games.

I wanna design and lead a team to extraordinary new heights!
